Patrick Mutzenberg

Patrick Mutzenberg is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in human rights and political roles. Currently serving as the Director at the Centre for Civil and Political Rights since January 2010, Patrick also holds the position of Conseiller Municipal for Ville de Carouge since September 2013. In addition, Patrick has been a Juge Assesseur at both the Tribunal Criminel and Chambre d'Accusation for Etat de Genève since June 2009. Prior experience includes a researcher role for the "Death in Custody" project at the University of Geneva from January 2009 to December 2010 and serving as Programme Manager for UN Treaty Bodies at OMCT - World Organisation Against Torture from 2003 to 2008. Patrick earned a PhD in Human Rights from Université Grenoble Alpes and holds two Master's degrees in International Relations from King’s College London and Public Law from Université Jean Moulin (Lyon III).
