Lynn O'Cain

Lynn O'Cain is an accomplished professional in the field of social innovation and community development. Currently serving as Cheffe innovation sociale and Chef de division - Vitalité et innovation sociale at Ville de Shawinigan since September 2021, Lynn previously held the position of Directrice générale at Pôle d'économie sociale Mauricie from September 2018 to September 2021. Prior to that, Lynn was Conseillère en transfert de connaissances at Territoires innovants en économie sociale et solidaire (TIESS) from November 2013 to September 2018 and worked in various roles at Pôle d'économie sociale Mauricie from April 2006 to November 2013, including another term as Directrice générale. Lynn's early career included work as Agente de développement économique communautaire at CDEC de Trois-Rivières from 1996 to 2006 and as Conseillère en développement social at Innovation et Développement économique Trois-Rivières from April 2003 to October 2005, where Lynn was instrumental in establishing the first municipal policy on social development in Trois-Rivières. Lynn holds a Bac in Génagogie from Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières and a minor in Sociology from Université de Montréal.
