Mia Mariaux de Serres has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Mia started their career in 2007 as a Consultant, Product Developer, and Buyer at Deguy, where they focused on product development, production, and sourcing. Mia then worked as a Design Project Manager at Hermès, where they conceptualized and executed window installations at the Hermès store in Paris. Following that, Mia worked as a Correspondent at SVA magazine and as the Head of Product Development and Production at KAIBOSH, where they led the mission to create the world's leading eyewear brand. Mia later joined FLO Scandinavia, where they served as a Sales & Marketing Coordinator and a Collections Manager, responsible for product development, production, and communication with suppliers. Mia then held the position of Senior Product Manager at Eschenbach Optik GmbH, followed by an interim role as the Senior Communications Manager at Patriksson Group. Most recently, they worked as a Creative & Strategic Consultant before joining Høyer as the Head Buyer responsible for buying and retail strategy for the entire Høyer group, managing brand portfolios, budgets, analytics, contracts, and bridging marketing, PR, and buying teams. Currently, Mia holds the position of Head Buyer at VILLOID.

Mia Mariaux de Serres began their education in 2008 at the University of South-Eastern Norway, where they studied Fashion Business and Marketing Strategy. In 2009, they attended Université Paris-Sorbonne for a course in Civilisation Française, focusing on French Language and Literature. The following year, in 2010, they studied Art History, Criticism, and Conservation at the University of Oslo (UiO) for a brief period. In the same year, they enrolled at The New School and graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Design Management, specializing in Fashion Business and Administration.
