Judy Mittleman

Dr. Judy Mittleman is the Chief Medical Advisor and a board-certified obstetrician gynecologist with more than ten years of experience providing gynecologic and obstetric care to the community. As a specialist in matters of women’s health, Dr. Mittleman, a mother of four, lends her expertise in breastfeeding, motherhood and juggling it all. Dr. Mittleman also advises the Villyge leadership team on business development matters.

Facilitating breastfeeding moms’ return to work is of particular interest to Dr. Mittleman, a mother of four, who discovered the challenges first hand, as she herself worked as an obstetrician on the labor floor of a prominent hospital. She has been a strong proponent of breastfeeding, incorporating education into the prenatal discussion of thousands of women. She has counseled women on breastfeeding, pumping and weaning, and has treated numerous breast-related conditions.

Dr. Mittleman received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the State University of New York at Binghamton and her Doctor of Medicine degree from SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center and is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
