Martin Ashton

Martin Ashton has a diverse work experience in various software development roles. Martin started their career in 2007 as a Quality Assurance Tester at VMC. In 2008, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at ABB. Martin then joined McGill University in 2009 and 2010 as an Undergraduate and Research Assistant for different labs. From 2010 to 2017, they worked at Autodesk as a Senior Learning Content Developer and a Programmer Writer Contractor. In 2018, they joined ToonBoom as a Senior Software Developer where they designed and implemented various projects. Currently, they are working at VIM since 2019 as the Director of Software Development and previously as a Software Developer Consultant.

Martin Ashton attended McGill University from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science. Martin then pursued further education at McGill University from 2010 to 2012, completing a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science.
