Jason Thrasher

Jason Thrasher has a wealth of work experience in various technology and engineering roles. Jason currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Vimcar, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Technology Officer at Avrios starting in October 2022.

Earlier in their career, Jason worked at Google as a Senior Engineering Manager from April 2019 to October 2022, where they managed teams responsible for building resource management software for Alphabet's computing fleet. Jason also held the role of Vice President of Engineering at IFTTT from September 2016 to October 2018, where they oversaw the development of a consumer service connecting over 600 apps, services, and devices.

Before that, Jason held positions at Yahoo, where they served as the Director of Engineering for BrightRoll Video Advertising from January 2015 to August 2016. Jason also worked as the Director of Engineering at BrightRoll prior to its acquisition by Yahoo in 2014.

Jason's earlier experiences include founding Bitmenu, Inc. in 2007, where they served as the Founder and Chief Technology Officer. Jason has also worked as the Director of Software Engineering at 4INFO, overseeing the development of a mobile ad-serving system.

Their career began at vLinks, where they held the position of Vice President of Engineering from December 2004 to September 2007. Jason also gained experience as a Men's Coach at Palo Alto Rowing Club during the same period.

Jason Thrasher attended Virginia Tech from 1992 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Their field of study during this time was Mechanical Engineering. Furthermore, Jason Thrasher has also acquired several additional certifications throughout their career. In December 2007, they completed the USRowing Level III Coach certification offered by USRowing. In October 2017, they attended a Radical Candor Workshop, although the institution providing the workshop is unknown. Lastly, in January 2018, Jason Thrasher participated in the Good Authority - People Manager Workshop/Training - More Yoda, Less Superman conducted by Refound.
