Israel Ben-Atar

Israel Ben-Atar is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in video technology and software development. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at Vimeo since May 2019, Israel oversees the Vimeo Create department, focusing on the development and delivery of AI-powered video creation and editing tools for a diverse clientele. Prior to this role, Israel held the position of Team Lead in Video Creation at Magisto from January 2012 to February 2023 and worked as Team Lead at MeeMix Ltd. from January 2007 to January 2012. Additionally, Israel served as CTO at ICQ from February 2002 to December 2006 and began a career as a Senior Software Engineer. Israel's educational background includes a B.Sc in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire and a degree in Practical Engineering, Computer Science and Information from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
