Violet Price is a seasoned professional in the television and audio production industry, currently serving as the Curator for America's Funniest Home Videos at Vin Di Bona Productions since March 2022. With experience as a Podcast Producer at Rainbow Valentine since January 2021, Violet produced and engineered significant projects like "The Best Day of My Life: Patch Adams' Journey to the Nobel Peace Prize Nomination" and "American Prankster: Wavy Gravy's Life Story." As the Director and Executive Producer at Black Sundays Productions since 2006, Violet leads an independent production company that specializes in music videos and various media productions. In 1989, he sold ABC on the concept that became "America's Funniest Home Videos" in less than five minutes. 24 seasons and a million video submissions later, the Show is the longest-running primetime entertainment series in the history of the network and is distributed in over 30 countries around the world in addition to 8 local versions. The digital footprint of the Show includes a Facebook page with 2+ million likes and 5 owned and operated channels whose clips have garnered 700+ million views across the YouTube platform. In 2010 Di Bona launched the company's reality TV division, FishBowl, which has shows on TruTV ("Upload with Shaq"), Bravo ("Toned Up"), VH1 ("I'm Married To A...") and Fuse ("Off Beat"). Di Bona received a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2007. To commemorate “America’s Funniest Home Videos” contribution to the American culture, the Show became part of history in 2009 when The Smithsonian Institution selected the show for inclusion into their permanent entertainment collections. Vin Di Bona is a four-time Emmy award-winning producer and recipient of the George Foster Peabody Award for his work in documentary programming.
