David Kerr is a seasoned professional in lighting design and systems integration, currently serving as a CTE Systems Integrator at Vincent Lighting Systems since September 2025. Prior experience includes a role as Lighting Team Lead at New Era Technology from August 2021 to September 2025, where responsibilities encompassed managing the lighting team and overseeing project design, engineering, installation, and service. David’s career in lighting began with Mills James, where contributions spanned multiple positions from Senior Lighting Specialist to Assistant Lighting Director, focusing on event lighting and rigging. Earlier experience includes roles at Theatrical Lighting Systems, Inc. as a Field Service Technician, freelance technician positions, and an electrics internship at Twin Tiers Theater Festival. David holds a BFA in Theatre Design/Technology from Otterbein University, obtained in 2010.
