Julya Sotto Mayor Wellisch has work experience in various legal and compliance roles. Julya started working at Comissão de Valores Mobiliários in November 2004 as a Subprocuradora-chefe and held this position until February 2015. From March 2015 to March 2017, they served as Procuradora-Chefe at Comissão de Valores Mobiliários. In August 2002, they started working at Advocacia-Geral da União as a Procuradora Federal and stayed in this role until September 2017. Since September 2017, Julya has been serving as the Head of Legal and Compliance at Vinci Partners.

Julya Sotto Mayor Wellisch received their education in the field of law and business administration. From 2013 to 2016, they attended USP - Universidade de São Paulo, where they obtained a Mestre degree in Direito Comercial (Commercial Law). Prior to that, they studied at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro from 2004 to 2005, earning a Master of Business Administration - MBA with a specialization in Regulação do Mercado de Capitais (Market Regulation).
