Mikko Salokangas

Mikko Salokangas has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mikko began their career in 2007 as a Software Development Engineer at Maillefer Extrusion Oy, where they worked until 2010. Following this, from 2010 to 2013, Salokangas served as a Software Engineer at Softability Oy, where they worked on various customer projects utilizing the latest technologies. In 2012, they were promoted to the role of Senior Software Engineer at Softability Oy.

In 2013, Salokangas joined HiQ Finland as a Software Developer, where they were a member of an agile R&D team responsible for developing integration products for various platforms. During this time, they gained experience in technologies such as Javascript, AngularJS, Less, Azure, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and C#.

Salokangas then joined Vincit in 2014, where they held different roles. Mikko started as a Passionate Lead Developer and progressed to become a Passionate Technical Lead in 2016. In 2019, Salokangas was promoted to the position of Head of Development at Vincit USA.

Mikko Salokangas obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Technology from the Helsinki University of Applied Sciences, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. In addition to their degree, they have also earned various certifications, including Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) from Scrum.org in February 2023, Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from Scrum Alliance in September 2018, and several certifications related to .NET Framework from Microsoft.
