Patrik Hillner has a diverse work experience, starting in 2012 when they served as a Conscript in the Finnish Defence Forces for a year. In 2015 and 2016, they worked as a Machine Operator at Efla Oy during the summer, operating various machines in production and quality control. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Research Assistant at Åbo Akademi, and from 2018 to 2019, they continued as a Research Assistant with the same company. Most recently, in 2019, they joined Vincit as a Software Developer.
Patrik Hillner pursued their educational journey in the field of Computer Engineering. Patrik obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering with a specialization in Industrial Systems Engineering from Åbo Akademi University. This degree was earned between the years 2013 and 2016. Building on this foundation, they then went on to complete their Master's Degree in Computer Engineering at Åbo Akademi University from 2016 to 2019. Additionally, Patrik Hillner achieved an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services in May 2023.
