Tero Leppänen

Tero Leppänen has over 25 years of work experience in various roles related to architecture and integration. Tero is currently working as a Solution Architect at Vincit since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Istekki Oy as an Enterprise Architect from November 2021 to June 2023, where they were responsible for participating in IT projects and creating architecture descriptions and solution design proposals.

From 2017 to 2021, Tero served as a Lead Solution Consultant at TietoEVRY, where they worked as a senior integration architect with customers from retail, public sector, and industry. Tero also used various integration platforms and open-source solutions.

Before that, Tero worked at Digia as a Systems Architect from 2013 to 2017, where they were responsible for architectural and integration design. Tero used UML and Archimate modeling languages for a model-driven approach.

From 2011 to 2013, Tero worked as an IT Architect, Application Integration at UPM, where they participated in integration projects and designed interfaces between multiple applications.

Tero also worked at Logica as a Technical Architect from 2006 to 2011, where they were involved in customer-specific software projects and served as a technical lead architect.

Tero started their career at Medicel Oy as a Software Designer from 2003 to 2006, working on software design and implementation. Prior to that, they worked at Stonesoft as a Project Team Leader and Software Designer, and at Nokia and Ericsson in junior roles.

Overall, Tero Leppänen has a strong background in architecture, integration, and software design with experience in various industries and projects.

Tero Leppänen has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, which they obtained from 1994 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed their Matriculation examination at Arkadian Yhteislyseon Lukio from 1990 to 1993.
