Veikko Karsikko

Veikko Karsikko has a strong work experience in the field of tech and development. Veikko is currently working as the Director - Tech & Dev at Vincit since January 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Passionate Lead Developer at the same company from March 2018 to January 2023.

Before joining Vincit, Veikko worked at SATUMAA FAMILY BUSINESS as a Senior Developer from November 2017 to March 2018 and as a Web Developer from March 2016 to October 2017. In these roles, they were responsible for bringing ideas to life as a full stack developer and worked on projects for clients such as Villada, L'Oréal, and Carlsberg.

Veikko also has experience at Nordic Venture Family where they worked as a Senior Web Developer from January 2014 to December 2015. Veikko'sresponsibilities included designing startup boilerplate and the development and planning of new startups.

Veikko's earlier experience includes working as a Back-End Developer at Valu Digital Oy from May 2012 to January 2014. In this role, they focused on developing the Base C6 CMS and improving it by creating new modules like one responsible for bank transfers.

Veikko Karsikko pursued their education from 2009 to 2014 at JAMK University of Applied Sciences. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Computer Software Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Veikko also holds a certification called Contentful Certified Professional Exam, which they obtained in August 2023 from Contentful.
