Kajetan von Mentzingen

Kajetan von Mentzingen has extensive work experience in the aviation industry, with a focus on quality management and lean principles. Kajetan has held various leadership roles at Airbus Defence and Space, Airbus Helicopters, and Airbus. At Airbus Defence and Space, they served as the Global Head of Quality, Vice President, Head of Quality Production, and Vice President, Head of Product Quality A400M. Kajetan successfully implemented new quality strategies, merged and integrated production quality teams, and led the turnaround of A400M quality following an accident. At Airbus Helicopters, they were the Vice President, Head of Lean Management, where they integrated lean principles into the product strategy. At Airbus, they served as a Senior Lean Expert in both Customer Services and Sales and Final Assembly Lines, where they deployed lean principles and improved end-to-end processes. Prior to their roles at Airbus, they worked as a Partner in Lean Manufacturing at IFAO AG and completed an internship and final thesis at Stahlberg Roensch GmbH. Kajetan also gained experience in system administration and business process optimization at DIOMEDEA AG and Peter Gorsolke GmbH. Currently, they are the Managing Director Aviation at VINCORION.

Kajetan von Mentzingen earned a Diplom-Ingenieur in Wirtschaftsingenieurswesen from Technische Universität Berlin from 1995 to 2003. Kajetan also obtained an Executive MBA in Aeronautics from ESC Toulouse in 2010-2011.
