Brian Lynch is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in horticulture technology, aerospace engineering, and education. Currently serving as the Director of Horticulture Technology Systems and a Senior Research Scientist at Vineland Research and Innovation Centre since September 2018, Brian has a rich academic background, including roles as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Queen's University, where course development in Mining Technology and aerospace engineering was a focus. Previous experiences include postdoctoral research at Carleton University, where work on robotic systems for mining and planetary exploration took place, as well as contributions to the development of innovative drilling systems for Arctic exploration. Brian holds multiple degrees in Aerospace Engineering from Carleton University, including a Ph.D. attained in 2013, contributing to a solid foundation in both research and teaching within engineering disciplines.
