Kim Shellenberger, MBA, has over 25 years of experience in health care policy and health care improvement for vulnerable populations. As the Vice President of Integrated Care and Innovation at Vinfen, she oversees Vinfen’s programs in care integration, including the developing Community Partners programs and Vinfen’s One Care Health Home. She is also responsible for the development of new services, innovative technologies and partnerships that improve outcomes and quality for the people served.
Ms. Shellenberger also serves as a national consultant in the areas of community-based population health and health and human services integration working with a Northeastern University team. In 2018 she co-authored case studies of cross-sector, community-level, population health improvement efforts addressing social determinants of health.
Prior to Vinfen she worked Commonwealth Care Alliance, the Medicaid-Medicare health plan and health care delivery network, leading the development and implementation of its One Care program, the Massachusetts’ duals demonstration for people with disabilities. Ms. Shellenberger began her career in health care policy and advocacy working at the national organization, Community Catalyst, working to improve access to health care and prescription drugs. Her first job was working as a community organizer at Health Care For All, the health policy and advocacy organization, where she currently serves on the Board of Directors.
She holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
