Christian Benavides

Christian Benavides has a diverse work experience in the field of UX design and project management. Christian started their career in 2013 as a Full-time Research Professor at Universidad Autonoma de Colombia, where they conducted research until 2019. In 2018, they also worked as a Research Coordinator at Universidad Manuela Beltrán.

In 2019, Christian joined Aranda SOFTWARE as a Software Auditor and began working as a Full-Time Professor at U. de San Buenaventura, Bogotá. Additionally, they served as a UX Consultant and Project Manager at FUNCICOLOMBIA from 2019 to 2022.

From 2022 to 2023, Christian worked as a Project Manager at Escuela de Formación y Entrenamiento Online - ADN Training. Christian then transitioned to Vinnove, where they held the role of UX/UI Designer.

Currently, Christian is serving as a UX Designer at ATS Colombia (Adaptive Tech Solutions) starting in 2023. Their work experience showcases their expertise in UX design, project management, research, and teaching in various organizations and industries.

Christian Benavides has a strong education history in the field of systems engineering. Christian obtained their Doctor's Degree in Ingeniería de sistemas from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where they studied from 2014 to 2022. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Ingeniería de sistemas from Universidad de Los Andes from 2008 to 2011. Christian started their academic journey at Fundación Universitaria San Martín, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Ingeniería de sistemas from 2003 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Christian has also acquired various certifications. Christian obtained the Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design certification from Coursera in January 2022. Christian holds UX-PM Level 3, Level 2, and Level 1 certifications from UXalliance, obtained in December 2021, November 2021, and September 2021, respectively. Christian also attained the Conocimientos Académicos en Inglés B1 certification from Berlitz Colombia in July 2021.
