Allan Thorsen

Allan Thorsen has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Their most recent role is as CEO (acting) & CFO at Vinoteket.com, an online wine store in Sweden and Denmark. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Stylepit from 2019 to 2021. From 2014 to 2019, Allan worked at Coop Danmark as the Finance Manager/Head of Business Controlling and FP&A for both Kvickly and Fakta. Before that, they held the position of Head of Planning, Budget & Business Controlling at Cementir Holding S.p.A. for the Nordic Baltic Region from 2010 to 2013. Allan also has experience as a Senior Financial Consultant at their own practice, Group Finance Manager at ConvaTec, Director of Finance at GN Store Nord, and Group Business Controller at Nilfisk. Allan started their career at Carnegie Investment Bank as a Group Controller.

Allan Thorsen's education history starts with their attendance at Gerbrandskolen from 1975 to 1984, where they did not receive a degree or specialize in a particular field of study. Following this, they attended Tårnby Gymnasium from 1984 to 1987, obtaining a high school degree with a focus on Mathematics and Nature science. Allan then pursued a degree in Business/Managerial Economics at Copenhagen Business School from 1988 to 1992, earning the degree of HD R. Allan continued their studies at the same institution, specializing in Finance, General, and completing the HD F degree program from 1992 to 1994. Moving forward, Allan completed a 100 Day Growth Challenge program in Innovative Leadership at DTU - Technical University of Denmark in 2014. Finally, in 2022, they furthered their education by obtaining a Board Certificate from The Board Company.
