Jared Fredrickson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Jared started their career as a Field Engineering Intern at Blattner Energy in 2009, where they gained knowledge of civil, foundation, and electrical engineering while assisting with wind tower installation projects. In 2010, Jared worked as a Plant Chemist Intern at OGE Energy Corp, where they performed lab tests and analysis to troubleshoot water chemistry issues in power generation. Jared also ensured proper pH balance and recorded data for environmental reporting.
In 2011, Jared served as a Process Engineering Intern at Valero Energy Corporation, where they performed process engineering calculations and analysis to identify and troubleshoot refinery issues. Jared also monitored daily unit operations and evaluated refinery hydraulic systems for potential improvement plans.
Jared then joined Vinson Process Controls in 2012 and held various roles. As an Applications Engineer in the Final Control division from 2012 to 2014, Jared engineered mechanical control solutions and provided expertise for control valve applications in industries such as Power, Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, and OEM. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as an Applications Engineer in the Process Systems and Solutions division, where they developed control system network architecture and identified opportunities for control system improvements.
Jared's most recent role at Vinson Process Controls is the Remote Automation Solutions Account Manager, a position they have held since 2016. In this role, they manage relationships with high-profile energy accounts and provides sales and technical support for various product lines. Jared also generates financial models for business decision-making purposes and facilitates collaboration with multifunctional teams. As of September 2021, Jared has taken on a new position as the Business Unit Leader for Digital Transformation at Vinson Process Controls.
Jared Fredrickson completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Chemical Engineering at Oklahoma State University from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Northern Oklahoma College in 2007 and 2008, where they studied Engineering for a year. Recently, Jared pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Oklahoma - Price College of Business from 2019 to 2021.
