Angela Hughes is a seasoned quality assurance professional with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Head of Quality Assurance at Vinta Bio since September 2021. Previous roles include Director of QA Operations at ElevateBio and Director of External QA for CAR-T at Celgene. Angela has held various management positions focused on compliance, quality oversight, and regulatory adherence at notable companies such as Novartis Oncology, Alcon, and Sanofi Pasteur. With a degree in Biology from the University of Scranton, Angela has developed a strong foundation in quality management systems and regulatory compliance throughout a career that began with an early role as an Auditor at Charles River Laboratories.
