Nick Francis has worked in the IT field since 2005. In 2005, they began as a Senior Service Agency, Network Administrator at Heald Business College, where they were responsible for running physical network cabling and properly terminating/punch down where needed, as well as administrating the creation and deletion of user objects and groups in Active Directory, and performing general help desk responsibilities which included partial software training for end users. In 2006, they became a Help Desk Specialist at Memorial Medical, where their primary responsibilities included help desk and desk-side support, providing remote break fix/troubleshooting over the phone to end users, and repairing company hardware, as well as performing equipment refreshes and hardware upgrades. In 2007, they became a Network Administrator at JC Penney, where they performed general MCSA/MCSE duties for a Windows Server 2008 environment and limited Unix Enterprise support, and was responsible for maintaining and administrating Active Directory architecture and GPO link/creation, as well as performing tier 3 help desk escalation support, which included coordinating vendor work orders and dispatching simple support tickets to the primary help desk. In 2013, they joined Golfsmith International as an IT System Analyst ii, where they were responsible for Golfsmith level 1 and level 2 store help desk and infrastructure/production tickets, and performed general and advanced MCSA/MCSE tasks in multi-site Windows Server 2000/2003/2008/2012 environments, such as administering active directory, GPO, DHCP, DNS, and exchange amongst others, as well as performing multi-tier support in both remote and physical administration, including network troubleshooting. In 2017, they joined Vintage IT Services as an Information Technology Manager and System Engineer III.

Nick Francis attended Kaplan College from 2004 to 2006, where they earned a degree in Network Systems Administration in the field of Computer Science.
