Network Administrator/vCIO Manager at Vintage IT Services

Shane Blue has been working in the IT industry since 2003. Shane began their career as a CIS Lab Assistant - Student Worker at Amarillo College, where they assisted IT instructors with classes and coarse work, tutored IT students with coarse materials and assignments, and maintained and supported hardware and software systems across the CIS Lab network. In 2005, Shane began working at Sprouse Shrader Smith P.C. as a Desktop Administrator, where they maintained functionality and supported hardware and software systems across the company network, responded to and resolved trouble tickets for user support of workstations, printers, scanners, and miscellaneous peripherals, and served as a backup to the Network Administrator. In 2007, Shane was promoted to Director of IT and Security at Sprouse Shrader Smith P.C., where they designed, implemented, and supported corporate network data systems and Shoretel VOIP telephone systems across multiple locations, managed user accounts and activity in Active Directory environment, and maintained the IT Department budget and plan for network acquisitions and expansion based on company growth while maintaining and improving efficiency and utilization of network resources. In 2020, Shane began working as a Network Administrator/vCIO Manager at Vintage IT Services.

Shane Blue's education history includes an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Software Systems and Networking from Amarillo College, obtained between 2002 and 2004. Shane holds certifications from Microsoft and EC-Council, including a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator: Messaging (MCSA) obtained in June 2012, as well as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI), and Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST).
