Aaron Niderost has a diverse work experience in the wine industry. Aaron started in 2000 as the Director of Strategic Projects and Chief Quality Officer at Mendocino Forest Products. Aaron then moved on to work at Fetzer Vineyards as a Manager in Quality, Process Improvement, and Packaging Analysis/Development. Aaron later joined Beam Wine Estates as a Capital Assets Manager. In 2008, they became the Director of Operations and General Manager at Geyser Peak Winery, Ascentia Wine Estates. From 2010 to 2011, they served as the CEO/General Manager at Sparflex/Rivercap USA. Aaron then worked as a Consulting General Manager at Brutocao Family Vineyards and Bliss Family Vineyards from 2012 to 2013, where they were recognized for their sales achievements. In 2011, they started their own business, Winery and Small Business Consulting Services, where they provided consulting services for winery operations and private label services. Aaron also served as a Principal and Consultant. From 2013 to the present, they have been working as the Vice President and General Manager at Vintage Wine Estates, where they have been responsible for general management oversight for a multi-brand, vertically integrated winery and vineyards. During their tenure, they significantly increased the case production and the number of SKUs. In addition to their roles in various companies, Niderost also served as a Member of the Board at Mendocino Winegrowers, Inc. from 2013 to 2018, focusing on promoting the grapes and wines of Mendocino County.

Aaron Niderost earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Social Sciences from UC Irvine, where they attended from 1988 to 1992. Aaron then went on to pursue a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Social Sciences, with a focus on Cultural Anthropology, at Humboldt State University from 1992 to 1994. In 1997, they enrolled at the University of Phoenix and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration in 1999.
