Rene Abbate

Rene Abbate has extensive work experience in finance and accounting, spanning over 20 years. Currently, Abbate serves as the Controller at Vintage Wine Estates, a position they began in March 2022. Prior to this, Abbate worked for Constellation Brands, starting in 2012. Within Constellation Brands, Abbate held various roles, including HR Services Lead from June 2021 to March 2022, Business Team Lead - Finance from August 2018 to June 2021, Director of General Accounting from December 2013 to July 2018, and Manager of Accounting Services from April 2012 to December 2013. Abbate also worked at Constellation Wines US from 2007 to 2012, initially as a Sr. Financial Accountant from October 2007 to January 2010, and later as a Manager Gen Acct from January 2010 to April 2012. Before joining Constellation Wines US, Abbate worked at Durst Image Technology as a Financial Reporting Manager from 2004 to 2007, and at Kodak in an Internal Audit role from 2002 to 2004. Abbate's early experience includes working as a Supervisor at Rotenberg & Company from 1999 to 2002.

Rene Abbate attended Nazareth College from 1995 to 1999, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
