Kai Hinson

Head of Operations at Vintner's Daughter

Kai Hinson has a diverse work experience beginning in 2007 as a Trade Show Representative for O Olive Oil. In 2010, they became a Lead Instructor for Sprout Up and a Research Intern for UC Santa Barbara. Kai also volunteered as a Teacher for Future Light Orphanage in 2011. In 2012, they Co-Founded and managed Green Rows Farm as the Managing Director. Kai was also the State Secretary and Secretary for Oahu for Hawai'i Farmers Union United in 2014. From 2016 to 2017, they held various roles at Patagonia, including MBA Associate for Provisions, Product & Sourcing Manager, and Senior Product Category Manager. Currently, they are the Head of Operations and Senior Director of Operations at Vintner's Daughter.

Kai Hinson obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International/Global Studies from UC Santa Barbara in 2015. Kai then went on to attend the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2017. In addition, Hinson has obtained several certifications, including an Inclusive Mindset from LinkedIn in April 2021, Rolling Out a Diversity and Inclusion Training Program in Your Company from LinkedIn in January 2021, Preventive Controls for Human Food, Qualified Individual from the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA) in May 2019, Foreign Supplier Verification Programs from the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA) in April 2018, and a Permaculture Design Certificate from the Asia-Pacific Center for Regenerative Design in March 2013.
