Gonzalo Doria Pérez de Azanza has a diverse work experience in the field of marketing and performance advertising. Gonzalo started their career as a Marketing Intern at Parclick in 2014, where they were responsible for sales reporting, web analytics reporting, and managing the corporate blog.
In 2015, Gonzalo moved on to 11811 NUEVA INFORMACIÓN TELEFÓNICA as an Account Manager. Here, they managed SEM campaigns for Spain and the international market, developed affiliate programs, and conducted market research.
In 2017, Gonzalo joined Eonian Tec, S.L. as an Online Marketing Specialist. Gonzalo created, managed, and optimized PPC campaigns across various platforms such as Google AdWords, Facebook, Instagram, and Taboola. Additionally, they conducted A/B testing and developed new ideas and strategies to increase traffic.
Gonzalo then joined eDreams ODIGEO in 2018, initially as an SEM Executive and later as an SEM Specialist. In these roles, they created, managed, and optimized SEM campaigns in different international markets. Gonzalo also presented and accounted for the performance of these campaigns to various stakeholders and led automation projects to improve workflows.
From 2020 to 2022, Gonzalo worked at Preply as a Performance Marketing Specialist. Here, they strategized, developed, managed, and owned paid search marketing across Google Ads, Bing, and Yandex, with a monthly budget of approximately $1M. Gonzalo successfully scaled the paid search strategy by 10x within budget constraints and performed rigorous AB testing.
Currently, Gonzalo is employed at Vio.com (formerly FindHotel) as a Marketing Analyst for Performance Marketing, a role they started in 2022.
Gonzalo Doria Pérez de Azanza completed their Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Management of Marketing at the University of Deusto from 2008 to 2013. In 2013-2014, they pursued a Master's degree in Multimedia Communication with a focus on Advertising and Marketing at TRACOR. Additionally, they attended the Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences from 2012-2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree. In 2015-2016, they participated in a Graphic Design Workshop at Aula Creactiva. Looking ahead, Gonzalo plans to study Data Science as an Analytics Specialist at CodeAcademy starting in 2023.
Gonzalo has also obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include a Dig into Programmatic and Ad Exchange certification from DoubleClick in September 2017, a DoubleClick AdExchange Basics certification from DoubleClick in September 2017, a Real-time Advertising Fundamentals certification from Quantcast in August 2017, a Google Ads Video Certification from Google Ads in October 2019, a Google Ads Shopping certification from Google Ads in October 2019, a Google Analytics Certificate from Google in July 2017, a Google Adwords Certification in Search Advertising from Google in March 2017, and a pending Google Adwords Certification in Display Advertising.
