Luís Felipe Souza

Luís Felipe Souza's work experience began in 2010 with their role as a Back-end Developer for a Global Project, where they gained experience in software development using PHP and MySQL. Luís Felipe then joined CI&T in 2011 as a Front-end Developer Jr, working on projects for Coca-Cola and Johnson & Johnson. During this time, they contributed to building responsive websites and improving workflows. In 2015, they became a Front-end Developer Pleno at CI&T, where they continued to enhance JavaScript development and optimization processes for the Johnson & Johnson project.

In 2015, Souza joined Geofusion as a Front-End Developer, where they worked on the OnMaps legacy product and played a key role in building the front-end foundation for a new product. Luís Felipe utilized technologies such as JavaScript, Webpack, BackboneJS, D3, PostCSS, and Less.

From 2016 to 2020, Souza worked at Magnetis Investimentos, first as a Frontend Developer and later as a Team Leader. During this time, they contributed to the redesign of the product using Vue.js, Redux, and SCSS. Luís Felipe also proposed and developed Magnetis' first Progressive Web App, resulting in a 40% increase in user interaction. As a Team Leader, they focused on improving product development, leading the team towards goals, and supporting the growth of team members.

Most recently, since 2020, Souza has been working at Vio.com (formerly FindHotel). Luís Felipe started as a Senior Frontend Engineer, actively involved in AB testing and initiatives to improve code quality and migration to TypeScript. Luís Felipe then moved into roles as an Engineering Lead, Engineering Manager for OTA, and currently as an Engineering Manager for Mobile.

Throughout their work experience, Luís Felipe Souza has demonstrated their expertise in frontend development, team leadership, and driving impactful changes within organizations.

Luís Felipe Souza pursued their education in the field of Information Technology. From 2007 to 2009, they attended Cemep, where they obtained a degree in Computer Technician. Following this, they enrolled at Universidade Estadual de Campinas from 2010 to 2014, completing a degree in Systems Analysis and Development as a Technologist.
