Violence Intervention Program
Victoria J. Limon, M.S. is an experienced Clinical Therapist currently employed at the Violence Intervention Program since April 2015. Previous roles include Clinical Therapist at Drew CDC and Support Counselor III at Stars Behavioral Health Group, where skills included providing mental health and rehabilitation services. Victoria held the position of Foster Care Social Worker at Our Small World, conducting assessments for child placements, and served as a Graduate Assistant at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, offering administrative and academic support. Additionally, Victoria was a student therapist during fieldwork at the Center for Brief Therapy, performing evaluations and providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Counseling and Clinical Health Psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rosemont College.

Since 1984, the Violence Intervention Program (VIP) has been the leader in building transformative programs that raise the standard of care for all children and families in Los Angeles County. Charged with the mission of protecting and advancing the welfare of victims of child abuse, neglect, sexual assault, and family violence, we seek to significantly better their lives through comprehensive medical, mental health, and supportive programs that promote not only healing, but also self-confidence and personal empowerment. Today, VIP serves as the largest Hub for the comprehensive evaluation and treatment of child abuse cases in Los Angeles County; our programs impact over 25,000 victims of physical and sexual abuse and family violence each year.
