Stephen Yan

Stephen Yan has held various positions in the software engineering industry since 2014. Stephen began their career as a Residential Computing Consultant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2014. In 2016, they took on the role of Software Engineer Intern at Thycotic, as well as Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, Undergraduate Researcher, and Technical Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2018, Stephen Yan became a Software Developer at Carl Fischer Music Publishing, and in 2022, they began working as a Full Stack Engineer at VIOLET.

Stephen Yan attended East Chapel Hill High School from 2009 to 2013, graduating with a High School Diploma. Stephen then attended University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2012 to 2013 as a Non-Degree Seeking Student, taking courses in Multivariable Calculus and Differential Equations. From 2013 to 2017, Stephen Yan earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Statistics & Analysis from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
