Brenda Wine-Cooks is currently the Program Director for the Casa Esperanza Shelter at VIP Community Services. Ms. Wine-Cooks is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of New York. As a Program Director she oversees the coordination and administration of all aspects of an ongoing program including planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and ensuring that appropriate program activities are provided to clients. Ms. Wine- Cooks has a particular interest in improving the accessibility of the lives of homeless individuals, single adults, and individuals who are at a disadvantaged.

Ms. Wine- Cooks has over 15 years of experience in a variety of settings and with diverse clients, including both long-term and brief interventions. She provides clinical oversight of program assessment and services provided by the staff to residents to ensure the quality of the services and to ensure that services meet or exceed regulatory guidelines. In her spear time, she enjoys the comfort of her family, God, and weekend getaways. Ms. Wine- Cooks graduated from the University of Fordham with her graduate degree in Social Work, and possess an undergraduate degree from City College in Psychology minoring in addiction.
