Amanda Alexandre currently serves as the SOY Pittsburgh Middle School Coordinator at the Latino Community Center, a role held since August 2020. With experience as an English Teacher at VIPKID since September 2018, Amanda has effectively simplified curriculum for young learners and tracked their academic progress. Previous roles include Youth Care Worker at Holy Family Institute, where connections were made for Latinx refugee children, and Program Associate at Crossroads Foundation Pittsburgh, assisting students in the college application process. As a PULSE Fellow, Amanda contributed to empowering students and researching fundraising strategies.
