Saurabh Thakur

Saurabh Thakur has a diverse work experience in the field of quality assurance and food safety. Saurabh currently holds the position of Quality Head QA & Food Safety at Vippy Industries Ltd. Prior to this, they worked as the Quality System & Audit Lead (IMS Manager) at CANPACK INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, where they were responsible for the Integrated Management System and conducted internal audits. Before that, they served as a Quality Assurance Manager at Vippy Industries Ltd, where they gained experience in various quality functions such as process excellence, lean manufacturing, and vendor development. Saurabh has also worked as an Assistant Manager QA at Kriti Industries Ltd and as a QA Executive & Senior Microbiologist at Makson Nutrition Food, Cadbury India Ltd. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in areas like QMS, HACCP, food safety, and plant management.

From 2008 to 2010, Saurabh Thakur attended Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Microbiology with a specialization in Medical Microbiology and Bacteriology.

In 2020, Saurabh Thakur received certification as a Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015 from Intertek.

In 2014, they attended IR CLASS and became a certified Food Safety Lead Auditor specializing in ISO 22000:2005.

In 2013, Saurabh Thakur completed an Internal Auditor course at DET NOR VERITAS, focusing on Internal Auditing.

From 2011 to 2013, they studied at Sikkim Manipal University of Health, Medical and Technological Sciences, where they earned an MBA degree with a concentration in Total Quality Management.
