Jason Karlen

Jason Karlen is an experienced research professional currently serving as a Senior Research Associate at Vir Biotechnology, Inc. since June 2021, after holding the position of Research Associate II. Prior to this role, Jason worked at Kite Pharma as a Scientist III in Analytical Operations from November 2020 to April 2021. Jason’s career also includes a position as a Research Associate in Pre-Clinical & Translational Sciences at Atara Biotherapeutics from June 2019 to November 2020, and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at NYU Langone Health from October 2016 to December 2018. Jason began a medical journey through a Volunteer Observership at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai from August 2015 to January 2016. Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from New York University, achieved in 2018.
