Jeff Dunbar

Jeff Dunbar has a strong background in the biotechnology industry, with experience working in various roles and responsibilities. Jeff is currently serving as the Director of Drug Substance Technology Transfer at Vir Biotechnology, Inc. In their previous role at Genentech/Roche, they held several positions including Head of CCP1 Cell Culture Frontline Technology Support, Manager of Manufacturing Initiatives, and Senior Supervisor of the Manufacturing Initiatives Group. Prior to that, they worked at Genentech as the Senior Supervisor of Purification Operations and Manufacturing Initiatives, as well as a Startup Supervisor in Cell Culture. Jeff also had an expat assignment at Genentech España, where they served as the Cell Culture Operations Subject-matter Expert and Start-up Liaison. Throughout their career, Jeff has demonstrated expertise in manufacturing operations, technical transfer, team leadership, and ensuring compliance with cGMPs and safety standards.

Jeff Dunbar received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from California State University, Chico. Jeff later pursued a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of California, Davis.
