Mariam Gindia

Mariam Gindia has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Mariam started their career as a Microbiologist at Ateco pharma, where they performed various microbiological analyses and participated in validation procedures. Mariam then worked as a QC Analyst and QA Officer at AstraZeneca, where they were responsible for microbiological testing and analysis. Mariam later joined Novartis Consumer Health as a QA Associate, overseeing third-party manufacturers and handling quality assurance agreements. After that, they worked at GSK as a CMO Quality Manager, managing contract manufacturers and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Mariam then joined The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson as a Business Quality Head for North Africa. In this role, they implemented and maintained a quality management system and oversaw the quality status of regulated functions within the cluster. Currently, Mariam works at Vir Biotechnology, Inc. as an Associate Director of Quality Assurance.

Mariam Gindia obtained their Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and Biotechnology from The German University in Cairo, from 2005 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their IGCSE at Port-Said School, from 2003 to 2005.
