Dr Rebecca Love

Co-Founder at Vira Health

Dr Rebecca Love has a wealth of experience in the health and research fields. In 2020, they co-founded Vira Health, a company dedicated to improving women's healthcare and extending healthy life expectancy. From 2018 to 2019, they were a University Lecturer in Health Studies at the Bader International Study Centre, and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at City, University of London. In 2018, they were a Research Fellow for the London Child Obesity Taskforce at the Mayor of London. From 2016 to 2015, they were the President of the Scholars' Council at Gates Cambridge, and President of the King's College Graduate Society (KCGS) at the University of Cambridge. Dr Rebecca was a Research Consultant for Evidence Aid from 2015 to 2012, and an Ocean Path Community Leadership Fellow at the Coady International Institute from 2012 to 2011. Finally, they were the Fall/Winter Director at Camp Outlook in 2011.

Dr Rebecca Love obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medical Science from the University of Cambridge's MRC Epidemiology Unit, their Master of Science (MSc) in Evidence Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation from the University of Oxford, and their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Kinesiology and Health Studies from Queen's University.
