Troy Montgomery

Troy Montgomery has extensive work experience in the retail industry, with a focus on quality assurance, procurement, and project management. Troy most recently served as the Director of Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement at VIRA Insight LLC, where they revolutionized retail design and fixture fabrication. Prior to that, they worked as a Strategic Sourcing Manager at PIN Inc., overseeing procurement activities. Troy also held the position of Store Fixture Project Management, Sourcing & Procurement at Beeline Group, where they managed operational and tactical procurement activities. Earlier in their career, Troy served as the General Manager of US Operations at RICHSEAT STORE MANUFACTURE CO., LTD, where they facilitated communication between US customers and the factory in China. Troy has also worked at RadioShack as a Senior Sourcing Manager, responsible for sourcing and procurement of store furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Additionally, Troy held the position of National Sales and Marketing Manager at American Plastics/Fabrication, Design & Display, where they managed national sales and marketing efforts. Troy began their career at Sears, Roebuck and Co., serving as a Visual Merchandising Manager and overseeing store planning and management responsibilities.

Troy Montgomery completed the Sears Executive Development Program in 1985-1986, earning a certification in Human Resources with a focus on Store Staff 1-The Business We're In And Your Role In It. From 1977 to 1987, they also completed courses in Retailing and Retail Operations, Opening & Closing Store Operations, and Loss Prevention Policies as part of the Sears Retail & Area Operations Management program. In 1979, they graduated from Wichita Falls High School, where they pursued academics and completed a 2-year Distributive Education (DECA) program. Additionally, they studied Retailing and Retail Operations for 2 years at DECA.
