Umar Farooq

Umar Farooq is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data analysis, project management, quality assurance, and automation engineering. Currently a Data Analyst at Viral Square since February 2020, Umar has led initiatives that significantly enhanced operational efficiency and resolved data quality issues, leading to improved predictive model accuracy. Previously, as an Automation Engineer Analyst, Umar specialized in designing and optimizing automation systems across various industries. Additionally, Umar has over two years of experience as a Project Manager in the software industry, effectively managing cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. Recently, in a role as a Data Analyst at Dolphin Quays, Umar led a team focused on integrating Building Information Modelling and sensor data to improve retrofitting processes. Umar holds a Master’s degree in Project Management with advanced practice from Northumbria University and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Bahria University.
