Dr. Aalam Ameerul

Dr. Aalam Ameerul is a highly experienced research and development scientist currently employed at Virax Biolabs since May 2024. Prior roles include positions as a research scientist at MiNK Therapeutics and Abzena, and a laboratory analyst at Randox Clinical Laboratory Services. Dr. Ameerul's background also includes teaching assistant positions at both the University of Nottingham and Teachers UK Education Recruitment Specialists. Earlier experience features a research assistant role at CSIRO - Australia Animal Health Laboratory. Dr. Ameerul holds a PhD in Molecular Pharmacology and Drug Delivery from the University of Nottingham, a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Deakin University, and a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from Vellore Institute of Technology.
