Marc Fiorucci

Marc Fiorucci, PhD, serves as the Head of Research and Development for the Pacific Region at Virbac since March 2023, leading efforts in the development of innovative medicines for animal health. Previously, Marc held the position of Head of Vaccine Development at Agilex Biolabs Pty Ltd, where responsibilities included managing operational development and promoting innovation within the immunoassay and immunobiology teams. Marc's experience also includes senior management roles at GSK, focusing on virology and cellular analytics, as well as heading analytical services at Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health. Earlier career stages involved analytical management at Merial and a PhD program at Transgene, which culminated in publishing patents and articles on vaccine candidates. Educational achievements include a PhD in Virology/Immunology from École normale supérieure de Lyon and a Master’s degree in Pharmacology from Polytech'Nice-Sophia, both with highest honors.
