Simon Pinnock

Simon Pinnock has extensive experience in cargo safety, security, and compliance within the aviation industry. Currently, as the Manager of Cargo Safety, Security and Compliance at Virgin Atlantic since November 2021, Simon oversees safety, security, and regulatory compliance for Virgin Atlantic Airways Ltd and Virgin International Airlines Ltd. Prior to this role, Simon served as Project Implementation Lead at Worldwide Flight Services from February 2022 to October 2022, driving various projects, including ISAGO. Simon also held the position of Chief Assurance Officer at dnata from April 2016 to August 2021, leading strategic planning and policy for health, safety, security, assurance, and environmental matters across the UK. Earlier career experience includes a long tenure at Virgin Atlantic from April 1991 to April 2016 as Cargo Safety Security and Compliance Manager, ensuring regulatory compliance and providing expert support to the Corporate Security department.
