Janice Wong

Janice Wong is an accomplished professional in the field of information security, currently serving as the Manager of Information Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance at Virgin Australia since April 2022. Previously, Janice held positions at Flight Centre Travel Group as the Security Risk and Compliance Lead for Global Land Supply, where leadership of domestic and international teams across six countries was key to enhancing security posture through various risk management and cyber defense strategies. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Security Consultant at EY, focusing on security assessments and audits, and an IT Consultant position at Queenslanders Credit Union, providing IT support and maintenance. Janice holds a Bachelor of Information Technology and a Bachelor of Creative Industries in Design and Visual Communications from Queensland University of Technology (QUT).
