Matthew Brimmer

Matthew Brimmer is an experienced Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with a career spanning over three decades. Currently employed at Virgin Australia since October 2019, Matthew performs line maintenance tasks on B787-8, A330/200, and A320/321 aircraft. Additionally, Matthew has worked with Korr/Jetstar since May 2013, specializing in aircraft maintenance. From June 2015 to January 2019, Matthew served as the Director of Saillybo PTY LTD, focusing on commercial and residential property maintenance, with expertise in renovations and project management. Prior to these roles, Matthew was the Acting Senior Licensed Aircraft Engineer at Qantas Airways from January 1991 to May 2013 and also worked as an Aircraft Engineer at Aerospace Aviation. Matthew completed a Trade Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from Padstow TAFE, following a School Certificate from St Patricks Sutherland.
