Mick McHugh

Mick McHugh currently serves as the Group Chief Information Security Officer at Virgin Australia, a position held since December 2023. Prior to this role, Mick was the Chief Information Security Officer and Head of Threat Intelligence at Tabcorp from January 2021 to December 2023. Mick's extensive experience in cybersecurity also includes serving as Coordinator of Global Programs and Director of Cyber Analysis for the Australian Government from October 2015 to December 2020. Academically, Mick holds a Graduate Diploma in Cyber Security Operations from UNSW Canberra (2017-2019), a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Queensland University of Technology (1996-2000), and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from The University of Queensland (1993-1995).
