Alejandro Berrios

Alejandro Berrios is an experienced maritime professional currently serving as a Harbor Pilot at the Virgin Islands Port Authority since September 2019. Previous roles include Second Officer at TOTE Maritime and Third Officer positions at both Sea Star Line and Sealift Inc. Alejandro also served as a Tug Captain for New York Marine Transportation, specializing in tug assist and towing operations. The early career includes experience as a Sailing Instructor with OCSC Sailing, as well as a Deck Cadet with International Shipping Partners LP. Alejandro holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Transportation from California State University Maritime Academy, obtained in 2010.
