Áine Ní Chaoindealbháin

Áine Ní Chaoindealbháin is the current Deputy Managing Director of Virgin Media Television at Virgin Media O2. Áine has held various positions at different companies throughout their career.

Áine began their career in 1996 as a technical director at Eo Teilifis - Ros na Run. Áine then moved to RTE in 1997 where they worked as a lighting operator. In 1998, they joined TV3 Television Ireland as a studio director. Áine spent six years at TV3 before moving to Sky News in 2004 where they became the General Manager of Sky News Ireland.

In 2007, Áine left Sky News to join Setanta Sports as Head of Production. Áine remained at Setanta until 2014 when the company went into administration. Áine then joined UTV Ireland as General Manager. Áine was with UTV Ireland for three years before moving to TV3 Group in 2017 as Head of Production & Strategic Planning. After a brief stint at TV3 Group, Áine joined Virgin Media as Deputy Managing Director of Virgin Media Television.

Ní Chaoindealbháin began their educational career by completing a H Dip in Broadcasting from the Technological University Dublin. Áine then went on to complete an HDip ( ard diploma i gcumarsaid fheidmeach ) in Media from the National University of Ireland, Galway. Finally, they completed a BA in English and Irish from the same school.

Their manager is Paul Farrell, Managing Director, Virgin Media Television.
