Mark Simmons

Mark Simmons is an experienced professional in the telecommunications and electrical engineering sectors, currently serving as Build Manager and Capacity Manager at Virgin Media O2 since January 2023. With a strong background at Magdalene where Mark has been a Capacity Manager since January 2017, responsibilities include managing DC power and equipment change processes for installations and decommissions. At Hartwood Group, Mark holds multiple roles including Demand Forecast Manager and Project Manager, overseeing demand forecasting and managing installers. Mark has also contributed significantly to network infrastructure design for Telefonica and has extensive experience in site management and health & safety as a Clerk of Works. With a solid foundation in telecommunications as a Director of Simmons Communication & Electrical Services Ltd from 1996 to 2002 and early training as an electrician, Mark possesses a comprehensive skill set in the field.
