Martin Pickford

Martin Pickford is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in information security and cyber technology. Currently serving as the Head of Security Architecture at Virgin Media O2 since January 2022, Martin previously held the position of Head of Cyber Technology at Santander UK, overseeing cyber security architecture and engineering. Prior roles include Director of Global Information Security at Liberty Global and Head of EE Security at BT, where responsibilities encompassed all aspects of security following a transition. Martin's earlier experience includes key roles at EE Ltd, T-Mobile (UK) Ltd, and VocaLink Ltd, focusing on technology security solutions, network security, and technical security consultancy. Martin holds a Master’s degree in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London.
