Mike Denney

Mike Denney is an accomplished leader in the entertainment engineering sector with extensive experience in the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as the Head of Entertainment Engineering & Delivery at Virgin Media O2 since May 2021, Mike oversees the integration and delivery of TV services across various platforms. Prior to this role, Mike was the Director of Local Technical Project Management at Liberty Global, focusing on enhancing entertainment services in the UK. Mike has a significant history at Virgin Media, where roles included Head of TV Engineering and Head of Interactive & Media Services, contributing to the development of linear and non-linear TV offerings, as well as overseeing VoD and interactive platforms. Mike's professional journey began at ntl, where responsibilities included managing 24/7 operations for TV VoD services. Mike holds a B.Eng in Engineering Electronics from the University of Warwick, obtained in 1998.
